Elva Bernice Wray born September 1, 1922

Here is a partial snapshot of page 3 of the Thursday, September 7, 1922 edition of The Milford Mail announcing the birth of Elva Bernice Wray, the second child and daughter of Elmer and Dora Wray.



And on September 10, 1924, A.F. Smith, MD, of Milford, finally filed the birth to the Dickinson County Clerk to be recorded in the county birth record.  Note the place of birth as Okoboji (Township), possibly at the Wray home.

Arlene Opal Wray born November 1, 1920

On the front page and in the bottom left-hand corner of the November 4, 1920 Milford Mail is the birth announcement of Arlene Opal Wray.  Arlene is the firstborn of Elmer and Dora Wray.








As can be read, the Wray's reside in Westport Township (five miles west of Milford).

And finally, on January 18, 1921, A.F. Smith, MD, of Milford, finally reported the birth to the Dickinson County Clerk to be recorded in the county birth record.
