Wray-Rehder Wedding on December 21, 1919?

I made a trip to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City yesterday.  Thought I would go 'fishing' for any documents from Dickinson and Shelby Counties in Iowa that would relate to Elmer and Dora Wray.  I found numerous items but the 'fish' that made my day was finding the marriage license for Elmer Wray and Dora Rehder.  One thing that caught my eye was the marriage date.  Everything that I've received over the years lists December 30th as the marriage date, then again, everything that I've received over the years has been passed down, nothing documented or verified.  As you can see, the Shelby County courthouse has recorded December 21, 1919 as the marriage date.

The marriage was performed in Harlan by an Evangelican minister, John M. Bamford.  Frank Curtis was a 44-year old widower that lived near the Rehder's farm in Lincoln Township.  Winesses were Dora's 17-year old sister, Minnie, and 16-year old step-brother, George Poschwatta.

After their marriage, Elmer and Dora made their home in Union Township in Shelby County, a little more than 12 miles northwest of the Rehder farm.  Their names were listed on the 1920 US Census about 4 weeks after their marriage.
